Friendly Competition

This painting was done for a married couple and family friend. It was meant to have a theme of a pair that has a friendly competition. To the left of the painting there is a tiger and a hen who is having a race and having a friendly competition. They are running around a pond. There is a wattle, hibiscus and a blue water lily. These are the national flowers of Australia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, which represent this couple's various heritages. The wattle has got 17 anthers, so 1+7 = 8, which means prosperity in Chinese numerology, and the anthers for the wattle numbers 26, which again is 2+6=8.
